How do you wish to create an environment where you are the one that need to maintain that environment as well as benefit from and enjoy it? Do you create it you goes or do you set your plan and theme? or you let the time decide how it will evolve? 

Since July 2024, I added different pieces to the so-called garden in the house, first started with 2 Jasmine flowers, follow by 1 yellow bell flower and two other yellow flower (not survived). As personal gifts for my house-warming, a friend sent me two Frangipani that were breed into yellow flower (below picture). These are in addition to three existing Frangipanis I already grow on the property - 1 white & yellowish, and two trees with the red flower; I have always been waiting in anticipation for the Red Flower to bloom but the white and Yellow and this one below bloom much faster. 

Today 22nd Sept 2024, I added one lemon tree and two flowers to the collection. The flower has purple leaves on one side and green on the other side. I want to plant them while the raining season is still have another 6-8 weeks to go before we switch to dry season and hopefully they will establish themselves. 

Planting is nothing that I was thinking I would do. But a new friend often remind me to 'throw the seeds onto the ground and harvest the result later' as if throwing seeds without taking care of land fertility and plant survival against the harsh climate condition will lead to good survival! but I did throw some seeds and some survive, such as chilly and ginger. So now i keep throwing seeds, including pumpkins and Pomelo.

In a reflection mode, while planting the lemon and flower today, I asked myself what I expect as an understanding from the person closest to me when I turn the hobbies of planting? Do I expect gardening shopping with them? Do I expect gift of plants? or Gardening Tools? or gardening books? Or just appreciating my efforts? 

Above all else, why should I have expectation at all? Planting has been helping me distract myself from social media, from spending unless time scrolling or watching video that are not productive to my peace of mind. 

Am I reaching another level where what make me feeling fulfilled has shifted? Probably!

I can turn my land into a residence to overcome my self-doubt and reaffirm my determination so I can probably turn this property which is already under Green Theme into a garden of Yellow Flower blooming! Only time will tell!
