The Deity Peacock

"WILL THERE BE ANY BAGGAGE WAITING FOR YOU AFTER YOU ARRIVED HOME AND THIS IS SEEN?"  The artist asked when he completed her session.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"IT IS ALRIGHT. SHE CAN STAY AT MY PLACE IF THAT HAPPENED" - I said.

It was at the mezonee floor of the shop on st 51. there is my friend who came with me to do the same and there is another guy with his artist. the guy girlfriend/wife is waiting for him, reading whatever on her phone screen the whole time. His option is grand and cover the breast area and all the way to the shoulder blade. he was lying down as it appears the session must be long. The sound from his session is louder and the artist put on a fast loud music to distract our concentration from the sound.

It was my turn as my friend did hers already. and mine while it was small but has a more elaborated type of image. The artist is busy fixing the new set of equipment and changing the needle. He brought two needles as opposed to one when  he did for my friend... i am not sure what to expect but my memory from having my belly pieced came back to me. it was then done in MBK in BKK and i was also with friends and more. It was the first time i experienced black-out; maybe it was for 30 sec or maybe less or maybe more. i cannot be sure. but it was not the reason stopping me from doing this one this time.

I did not plan to have it done this week. At the beginning of the week, i have developed a list of think to do and while i achieved over 50% on my to-do-list, this is not part of it. but anyway...

The artist is ready. he placed the drawing on my wrist and asked me if i was happy with the location and position. i suggested he moved a little bit up to my wrist collar, not knowing this suggestion will have a price to pay in a few sec. And once confirmed, he started from there.

The sentiment of having the needle touched my skin generated a clash of fresh pain. and it grew stronger as he pressed the needle a little harder and it surfaces on the bone. and he stayed in that area for around 30sec. the painful 30sec. i didn't open my eyes. my feet are clinking together. my free right hand hold to the seat and my eyes are closed. i was wondering how long more i need to suffer this? then he moved the needle downward, to a lesser bony area and the pain is still there but not as bad.
In around 7mn, he completed the shape of it. before he completed the session, my friend saw me trying to fight again the experience of being in pain and she encouraged me by saying that it was almost done. and around 2mn letter, the artist stopped. and i feel PAING!!! yeah it was done. But then he said NOT YET!

Oh dear!

He only completed the session on the sketch and needed to have the filter into it. he changes the needle. Oh dear... i start to have a second thought as to whether i should ask him to stop there and said that i am happy with it the way it is now. but of course i didn't utter a word - because i recalled what i asked him before we started the session.

Me: is there anyone who stopped in the middle of the process due to the pain?
Artist: (Chuckle) very few. if they start, they might as well complete the whole process before  stopping half way. it does not look good and they have to pay the full fee.
Me: oh I see.

So the sound resumed. and he again started at the head part of the shape and it made that unbearable pain for me again. this time, the needle touched more skin than preciously, to fill in the whole section. that sound is disturbing me. it is one that i will not like to hear again very soon. that process goes for another 6-7 mn more which made me feel like ages. but after moving downward again, it does not hurt as bad and each time after the filling of the area, he kept sweeping the skin with the tissue and also apply some gel or some kind of medicine or liquid onto my skin. when it is done, he removed the image that he placed on my wrist at the beginning. he cleaned the whole area. i pointed to some outer area for him to clean also. he said it is a special soap that is used to wipe the ink for this kind of process.

And then it looks clear, clean, and visible. She looks lovely to me. She appears very elegant and noble with her head turning left and her tail spreading at the right side. She found her home on my wrist. And she will be my guardian angel from now on.

The artist took out his mobile and shot a few pictures then he place my wrist on the pillow, applied some cream and wrapped it with a plastic sheet and asked me to unwrapped it after at least 30mn.

Artist: Finished and you can go now.
My friend: where do we pay? here or downstairs?
Artist: Downstairs please. Thanks,
Us: Thank you.

After we paid the fee, the other artist produced two plastic bags, each with an instruction card and a small box of gel. He asked us to read the instruction and apply the gel at least twice a day for 10-14 days. He is nice to us. my friend immediately take photos of the card and send to our whats up group. we also shared the pictures from the session there. just to remind and also to share with our other friend who did not join us.

It is not very common in the past for woman to possess tattoo. it was not widely acceptable now. but it is a fashion trend. I don't know what the reaction from my parents will be. nor my siblings and nieces and nephews. But it is already done and i am proud to have it. So that is part of me. and the lovely Deity Peacock as I was told.
