Oslo rain

Tuesday 28 August 2023

After eight months of not posting here, it is good to be back.

Sitting by the reception window, gazing at the passerby and writing this piece while I am feeling not too fit. This is probably the result of being exposure to drops of rain yesterday as I was walking back to hotel after a 5h sightseeing tour in Oslo and more than an hour strolling along the shore line. What more could I ask?

"Sometime, life requires people to rest. a truly rest by living in a slow life 'pace.' I hope you find yours.

Message coming in from Cambodia when I am not too well. that is meaningful.

In life, we need to find day when we need to br strong. we need to find time when we need to speak up. we need the time when we make decision, when we walk away, when we run and when we sit down and cry or smile under the steamy tears.

Seeing Uppsala, Oslo, Copenhagen (next), Malmo (next) is a blessing this life offer, this job provide, and this woman aspire to do.

How many time in life that I dream to seeing Oslo? This city that is so far away. This city that is know as Nordic; this city of the Viking. I don't even related what Viking is until the guide share with us yesterday what is believed to be teh characteristic of Viking people but she add that it was a myth.

Traveling is learning, be in a new place, meet new people, taste new food and adapt to new way that the world operate. I am blessed to be seeing the Nobel Peace Building, to know that every year, a Human Right Activist is celebrated with a recognized award being presented here. And I hope that some day in the future, there is one from Cambodia.

With love from Oslo
